YWCA of Arbutus
This project demanded renovations, upgrades, and conversions to allow for the structure to consist of thirteen residential units. During the demolition we uncovered numerous structural deficiencies. Multiple accomidations needed to be made because of damage to the structure both internally and externally to be able to guarantee quality of the structure. Even though this was a challenging project it was well worth the effort.

Our Lady of the Fields Parish Addition & Alterations
The Baltimore Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) awarded A.R. Marani, Inc., its prestigious President's Award for Contractor of the Year for this project.  The project included renovation of the Nave, Narthex and Sanctuary which included an expansion of one side of the Nave to provide additional seating, choir space and counseling rooms. A small, ornate prayer Chapel was added to the opposite side of the Nave. This addition included a glass enclosed vestibule to provide access to the classrooms, offices and bathroom in a separate portion of the building. The Narthex was also expanded to provide additional gathering space on the first floor and to increase the size of the balcony above. Tiered seating was constructed in the expanded balcony space.
